Shanna Sokoll passed away Thursday. She was born in Lubbock, TX. to Robert Wayne and Susan Ann (Perkins) Sokoll. She was a waitress at the Catfish Plantation. Shanna served on the Board of Historic Waxahachie and was Precinct Chairman of the Democratic Party. She was a lifeguard at the Waxahachie Country Club where she taught many children to swim. She loved history, antiques, music, reading, friends, family and her cat, Shadow Kitty. She was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Shanna's survivors are: her parents, Bob and Susan Sokoll of Waxahachie; sisters, Katha Melton and her husband Ryan of Austin, Tobin Davis and her husband Kirk of Waxahachie; beloved niece and nephew, Jake and Emma Davis of Waxahachie; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her very special and loved grandparents, Eva and Oscar Perkins.

A Rosary will be 7 PM Sunday at the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel. The Mass of Christian Burial will be 2 PM Monday, August 8, 2005 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Monsignor Mark Seitz Celebrant. Pallbearers will be Paul Crews, Tom Baker, Kirk Davis, Ryan Melton, Brent Eberts, and Walker Eberts. Interment will follow at the
Waxahachie City Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hope Clinic, 411 E. Jefferson, Waxahachie, TX. 75165
