Shairl Senter

S. Ray Senter was born July 14, 1944 in Pasadena , Texas and went to be with our Lord And Savior on October 03, 2013 at the age of 69. Ray was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend who will be deeply missed by everyone that knew and loved him. He will be remembered by his charismatic and humorous personality. He loved restoring classic muscle cars and spending time with family and friends. He was proud member of Teamster Local Union 745 for 30 years working for Brown Express, Transport USA , Consolidated Freightways and ABF Freight where he retired from in 2006. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dock and Inez Senter and two brothers Jimmy Senter and Oscar Senter. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Marilyn Senter, Daughter Kathy Armstrong and husband Dean Armstrong, his grandchildren: Austin and Skylar Armstrong. His sister Pauline Stacks, Geneva Whisenhunt, Imogene Haskins, Wanda Yarborough and Peggy Senter, Sister in Law, Shirley Gold and numerous nieces and nephews. Services to celebrate his life are scheduled for 2:00 PM Tuesday, October 08, 2013 at the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel with Eugene Kelley officiating. Visitation with the family and friends will be held Tuesday, October 08, 2013 from 12:00 PM to Service time at 2:00 PM. Honorary Pallbearers will be Austin Armstrong, Randy Kelley, Ricky Kelley, Junior Yarborough, Johnny Nation and Billy Brimmer. Arrangements are under the direction of Wayne Boze Funeral Home in Waxahachie
