Sanders Woolls, Jr.

Sanders "Sandy" Bartow Woolls, Jr., 61 of Waxahachie, passed away Friday, May 13, 2011 in Waxahachie. He was born to Sanders B. Woolls, Sr. and Virginia Daniel Woolls on December 10, 1949 in Munich, Germany. Sandy was a quiet man, a deep thinker with a wonderful sense of humor. He was loved by all who knew him. He was retired from the New Braunfels Electric Company and was recently in the process of turning his passion for photography into a home business, specializing in photo restoration. He loved nature and the outdoors and was a lifelong camper, naming Big Bend as his favorite destination. His family and friends will greatly miss him. Sandy is with the Lord. He is survived by his sons, Nathanial Woolls and his wife, Amy of Cape Elizabeth, ME, Eli Woolls of Boerne, Texas; his loving mother, Virginia Woolls of Sabinal, Texas; his sisters, Sandra Walker of Macon, GA, Sharron Parks and her husband, Larry of Waxahachie; his grandchildren, Abigail and Price Woolls; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Sanders B. Woolls, Sr. in 1984. Graveside services with military honors will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, May 23, 2011 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, San Antonio, Texas. www.waynebozefuneralhome.com
