Samuel McCormac Williams, 67, was born on September 12, l943 in Ardmore . He was the third child of John P. and Lorene Boggs-Williams, who preceded him in death. He died on Thursday, August 4, 20ll, at the Scott-White Hospital in Round Rock, TX. He was a resident of Sun City in Georgetown , TX at the time of his death. He graduated from Ardmore High School in 1961 and always maintained contact with many of his classmates who were so dear to him. He served in the U.S. Air Force for 4 years, and was assigned to the U.S. Army in VietNam where he served as a meteorologist. When his service was completed, he enrolled at the University of Texas in Austin where he graduated in l970. He was a CPA and worked at Price-Waterhouse and American Liberty Oil Co. in Dallas . After leaving the corporate field, he continued to work as a CPA for independent companies and he operated his own CPA firm until he retired. He loved his family and is survived by his 2 daughters, Amy Williams-Culley and Sara Williams-Musselman; 5 grandsons, Freddie Shoemaker, Michael, Steven, Brian and Sam Culley; 2 granddaughters Shelby and Christen Chamberlin; one great grandson, Trevor Culley and 2 great granddaughters Mackenzie Culley and Zoey Shoemaker, who all adored there "Papa". Also survived by sister, Patricia Williams-Rosson, of Broken Arrow and Rosemary Ellis, with whom he planned to spend the rest of his life. His four nephews: Ron, Kevin, John and Chris and three nieces: Keri, Leslie and Laurel, always loved holidays and visits from him and parties at his house. He also leaves one Aunt, Lois Boggs and four cousins who mourn his passing as well. Visitation for family and friends will be held at Wayne Boze Funeral Home, Waxahachie, TX, on Tuesday, August 9th, from 6 to 8 pm. Services to celebrate his life are scheduled for 9:30 a.m., Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home, Waxahachie. Graveside services with Military Honors will follow at 11:30 a.m. at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery.
