Sally Jo Chipman

February 10, 1959 — May 25, 2023

Palmer

With great sadness, we announce the passing of Sally Jo Chipman, born on February 10, 1959. She was reunited in heaven with her parents, Miles Roy Chipman and Bonnie Pearl Vance Chipman, and her brother Steven Roy Chipman on May 25, 2023.

She is survived by her sister in law Yvonne Chipman of Bristol, nieces, Tonya Spence and her partner, Wes, of Bristol, and her daughter Harmony Spence and boyfriend Dylan also of Bristol, niece Shelia Billings and husband Shane and their children, Everett, Scarlet and Ethan, all of Ennis, Texas. She is also survived by numerous cousins which she loved dearly; her adopted sisters, Beth Berry, her husband David, and their children Kaitlyn and Kevin, all of Universal City, Texas, and Denise Wagstaff, her husband David, of Lampasas Texas, and their children David and Jeremy, both of San Antonio, Texas.

Sally graduated from Waxahachie High School in 1977. She worked at Brentwood Healthcare from 1987 until she was forced into retirement in 2014 due to her health. She was an avid reader and could finish a book in record time. She loved to cook. Her favorite dishes to share with the world were her baked beans, potato salad, and Texas sheet cake. Her favorite cuisine was Mexican food, and her favorite restaurant was El Fenix in Waxahachie. Sally had a giving heart and loved all animals.

Most of all, Sally loved her family. There was nothing that would stop her from doing anything for any one of them. She will be greatly missed by all. The world is a better place with her having been a part of it.
