Sally Archer

Sally Marie Archer, age 51, passed on peacefully on Sunday, September 7th, 2014 in her home in Venus, Texas. She was born in Dallas, Texas on May 7th, 1963 to Robert and Patricia Archer, the youngest of five children. She was raised in Dallas, Texas on Lansing Street alongside her cousins, the children of Mary Lou and Cy Peters. Together they were known as the dirty dozen and shared a childhood filled with laughter and unforgettable memories. In her early teen years, she discovered a deep passion for music and began playing guitar. Somewhere along the way Texas lost Sally to Louisiana and she made it her home until she moved back to take care of her Mother. She graduated from Airline High School in Bossier City, Louisiana and went on to marry Michael Anders and mothered his daughter Angie Anders. She later went on to marry Andre Reynaud and mothered his two daughters, Kim Barber and Lori Eshelman. The last love of Sally's life was Thomas Goode and, with her caring manner, also mothered his son TJ Goode. It was Sally's kind, loving, and youthful nature that made her a genuine friend to all. Sally was a good Mom as all her children will attest. She was proud of all of her children and loved to brag on her Navy daughter Sarah. Sally loved to wear her T-Shirt " PROUD NAVY Mom." She enjoyed being a Mom but was overwhelmed with joy when she became a Grandmother. She loved Eli and relished the time they had together. Her eyes would light up when she talked about Eli. She loved their chats on the phone even when she could not understand him. Sally enjoyed living with her Mom and they spent lots of nights playing pool and listening to music. She felt young again and enjoyed the bond they had. She also loved the visits from Ronald. He was her life line to her friends in Louisiana. She is preceded in death by her Father, Robert Archer Jr., her sisters, Becky and Alyce Archer, and her brother Robert Archer III. She leaves behind her two daughters, Sarah Anders and Kelsey Reynaud, her grandson Elijah Glenn Torres, her brother Billy Archer, her mother Patricia Archer, her other mother Lou Lou (Mary Lou Peters), Angie Anders, Kim Barber, Lori Eshelman, Thomas Goode, TJ Goode and countless family and friends who will cherish the memories they have with the special and irreplaceable woman that Sally was.
