Sallie Blount

Sallie Halloway Blount, 62, passed away on April 18, 2017 in Dallas, Texas. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at 2:00 PM at the Covenant Life Church located at 423 N. College Street in Waxahachie.

Sallie was preceded in death by her parents, George and Ruth Halloway.

She is survived by her husband, Gary Blount; children, April McDougald Redding and her husband, James, and Aaron Blount; grandchildren, Raina Redding and Scarlet Redding; sister, Nancy Drake and her husband, Keith; sisters in-law, Charlene Webb and Beverly Holipski and her husband, John; brother in-law, Doug Blount and his wife, Christie; nephew, Mitchell Drake; her precious dog, Bentley; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

Memorial donations can be made to your local SPCA in memory of Sallie.

Wayne Boze Funeral Home in Waxahachie is in charge of the arrangements.
