Ruth M. Gallman, 96 of Italy, passed away Tuesday, July 15, 2008 in Italy. She was born to the late Orville M. Gallman and Zora Z. Flint Gallman on November 28, 1911 in Navarro County, Texas.
Ruth was the City Secretary for the city of Italy until her retirement, serving 29 years. She was a resident of Italy for 70 years and a long time active member of the First United Methodist Church of Italy. She enjoyed attending the monthly luncheon at the First United Methodist Church in Italy and loved all of her many friends there. Ruth will be missed by all who knew her and loved her.
She is survived by her numerous nieces and nephews and their families. She was preceded in death by 7 brothers and 1 sister.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 19, 2008 at the Hillcrest Burial Park in Waxahachie. Visitation with the family will be held from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, July 18, 2008 at Wayne Boze Funeral Home in Waxahachie.
