But I know that when I come to you, I shall come in the fullness
of the blessing of the gospel of Christ".
(Romans 15:29)
On November eight, the most beloved mother and grandmother went to be with our Lord and Savior.
Ruth was born September 02, 1932 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to James& Hazel Blocker. She was married for 62 years to the love of her life Earl Fountain. The result of their union produced two wonderful children, Danny & Kathy. She was proud to tend to every need of her husband and children. This trickled down to her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. A devoted Christian all her life, she taught all her grandchildren about the Lord. Always making sure they said grace before each meal. In addition to being a homemaker, she was a certified Sunday school teacher and was a published poet. A hole will now be left in the hearts of her family, but they know she is so excited to be with the Lord and be reunited with the love of her life.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Earl Fountain; 2 brothers: Bill and David Blocker, 1 sister: Ann Washington and 1 son in law Tim Schulze. She is survived by her son Danny and wife Lois Schmid, daughter Kathy Schulze; 4 grandchildren: 7 Great Grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
Jesus is her Savior and Lord of her life.
The family will have a private service at a later time.
MY FAVORITE TIME OF YEAR
I love the sound of summer
It's my favorite time of year
I hear the birds all singing
And I know that God is near
The sun comes bursting through my
windows
With a quiet and peaceful bliss
And makes my heart so thankful
For times, as nice as this
The days are long and tranquil
And sometimes soft breezes blow
The countryside is beautiful
With all the things that grow
So, when I choose my favorite time
This much I surely know
It would have to be summertime
With memories, quite aglow
