Mrs. Ruth Domstead of Lancaster passed away early Monday morning at Charlton Methodist Hospital, Dallas. She was born in Coryell County, Texas to James Euclid and Mertie Coryell (Denny) Jones. Mrs. Domstead was a member of the Texas Retired Teachers Association and had worked for the Lancaster ISD as a Secretary for twenty five years. She was a member of the Dallas Avenue Church of Christ in Lancaster.

She is survived by: husband, Leo Domstead of Lancaster; sons, Gary Domstead of Boerne and Glen Domstead of Ovilla; daughters, Carolyn Boshart of Lancaster and Lisa Rode of Round Rock; sisters, Reba Whatley of Mesquite and Faye Adams of Belton; nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Larry Domstead; grandson, Danny Domstead; and six brothers.

A Memorial Service will be 2 PM Friday, February 4, 2005, at the Red Oak Funeral Chapel, with George Slover and Bobby Holmes officiating. Cremains will be buried at a later date.
