Royce Awtry

Royce G. Awtry December 22, 1938 September 13, 2010 Royce Awtry, 71, of Red Oak, Texas passed away Monday, September 13, 2010 in Red Oak. He was born December 23, 1938 in Mt. Pleasant, Texas to Lewis and Sylvia Mae Crabtree Awtry. Royce was the a longtime member and Past Worshipful Master of the Waxahachie Masonic Lodge and was a Past President of the North Texas Chapter of the Refrigeration Service Engineer Society and served in the U. S. Navy. He is survived by his wife of 49 years: Vicki Jurecko Awtry of Red Oak, Texas. 2 Sons: Thomas Awtry of Leonard, Texas and Ronny Awtry of Red Oak, Texas. 1 Daughter: Michelle Awtry Fellman of Red Oak, Texas; 2 sisters: Jeanette Vasquez of Fort Worth, Texas and Margaret Fowler of Springtown, Texas 12 Grandchildren: 2 Great Grandchildren: Services to celebrate his life is scheduled for 1:00 PM Wednesday, September 15, 2010 Graveside at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Bloomfield officiating. Visitation with the family will be held Tuesday, September 14, 2010 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home. The family request in lieu of flowers memorials be made to the Texas Scotist Rite Hospital.
