Royal L. Francois of New Orleans passed away Sunday morning February 12th at Renfro Healthcare in Waxahachie, Texas. He was born in Kilona, LA. To John Francois and Rose Gus. He served in the United States Army quarter master corp Royal was a machinist at International Harvester until he retired He was a member of Holy Ghost Church of New Orleans.

His greatest joy was his family. He enjoyed watching "Walker Texas ranger" & boxing. And keeping up with current events reading the newspaper and watching the TV news. His survivors include: his wife, Debra Francois of New Orleans; son Royal L. Francois of Seattle, Washington; daughter Betsy Hilliard of Richmond, California; brother Rudolph Francois of Seattle Washington: grand children Royal Francois III and Derek Francois of Seattle Washington; Joseph Hilliard, Jawanda Hilliard,Jarrod Hilliard,Jamahl Hilliard of Richmond, California ;great grand children Jivonte Hilliard,Jarrod Hilliard, Idalis Allison,Jalyn Hilliard of Richmond, California, son - in-law Joseph Hilliard Niece & Nephews Zelda Ambers, Robert Ambers II, La Naya Ambers of Los Angeles,California

He is preceded in death by his parents John and Rose Francois of Kilona, Louisiana... Also by his sisters Alita, Florence, Vivian, Vaneta, brother Richard and grandson Jaleel Hilliard.

The family will have a Memorial Service in Oakland, California on March 14th 2006...
