Royal Delano Bell, age 84, died after a long fight with lung cancer Sunday, 26 September 2021 in Cedar Hill, Texas. Royal was born 18 August 1937 in Bell Branch, Texas.
Royal was a hard working carpenter. He worked for himself as well as being employed as a cabinet maker. He enjoyed fishing. He was a fan of the Texas Rangers baseball team. And he enjoyed watching WWE. Royal enjoyed gardening to include head-high tomato plants. He always had plenty to share. Royal enjoyed coffee most mornings with his friends and relatives at the local Whataburger restaurant in Waxahachie, Texas.
Royal is preceded in death by his loving wife Doreen J. Bell. Doreen passed to glory 17 December 2019. Royal is also preceded in death by his Father Frank C. Bell and his Mother Bernice B. Bell. Siblings that have passed to glory include Otta, Clifford, Byron, Vivian, Oleta, and Lee.
Royal is survived by his sister, Shirley Melton of Plano. And by his son, Sam Bell and his wife Karen of Cedar Hill. And by his son Barry Bell of Dallas. He is also survived by his grandchildren Michael Bell and his wife Mana of Cedar Hill. And Matthew Bell and his wife Lauren of Waxahachie. Great-grandchildren include Hevan, Payton, Vivian and Love.
