Ronald Wiggins

Ronald "Ronnie" Dean Wiggins,73, passed away on July 19, 2016 in Dallas. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Maypearl Church of Christ. Interment will directly follow at Maypearl Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held on Friday, July 22, 2016 from 6-8 PM at Wayne Boze Funeral Home in Waxahachie.

Ronnie was a graduate of Maypearl High School and was Valedictorian of his class. He met and married Gloria Ellis on June 1, 1963. Ronnie graduated from Preston Road School of Preaching and Dallas Christian College and received his master's degree from Abilene Christian College. He began his career as a Minister at Blue Ridge Church of Christ. Over the years, Ronnie preached at Red Oak Church of Christ, Midlothian Church of Christ, Pleasant Ridge Church of Christ, Northgate Church of Christ and currently at Maypearl Church of Christ.

He taught at Preston Road School of Preaching, was the Dean of Academics and Director at the Center for Christian of Education all while continuing to teach. At the time of his death, Ronnie was the minister at Maypearl Church of Christ.

Ronnie was a faithful servant of the Lord and was an awesome husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend to many .He was an avid reader, loved the mountains and family vacations in Colorado. He was a minister for 52 years.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny L. Wiggins and Lena Mae Reed; brothers, Sidney and Woodrow Wiggins; sisters, Doris Hargrove and Wilna Boone; and nephew, Joe Michael Hargrove.

He is survived by his wife, Gloria Wiggins of Midlothian; three daughters, Rona Charis Hedges and husband, Dan, of Labadie, Missouri, Amy Sherise Bliss and husband, Chris, of Midlothian, Texas and Haylee Dyan Jeannette Barge and husband, Kasey, of Midlothian, Texas; sister, Margie Collings of Georgia; three grandchildren, Elvis Kade Haywood, Carissa Ann Bliss and Caleb Hedges Morris; and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Arrangements are under the direction of Wayne Boze Funeral Home in Waxahachie, Texas.














