Mr. Rodriguez passed away at his residence in Waxahachie on Thursday, September 7, 2006. He was born in Mexico, GuanaJuato to Jesus and Maria Gonzalez Rodriguez. Mr. Rodriguez graduated from Milford High School in 1966. He served in the US Air Force in Viet Nam 1966-1970. He was a member of the VFW and Primera Iglesia De Itasca, Texas.

His survivors include: his mother, Maria Guadalupe Rodriguez of Waxahachie; brothers, Joe Rodriguez and wife Mary of Itasca, Gabriel Rodriguez of Waxahachie, John Rodriguez and wife Lodie of Garland, Ray Rodriguez and wife Sylvia of Sardis, Jessie and Victor Rodriguez, both of Waxahachie; sisters, Mary Villarreal of Ft. Worth, Stella Cedillo and husband Benito of Red Oak, Alice Rodriguez of Waxahachie, Debra Wiley and husband Dean of Waxahachie; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by his father and one brother, Selestino.

The family will receive friends and relatives from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. Monday, September 11, 2006 at Wayne Boze Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 12, 2006 in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Pastor Rudy DeLeon officiating. Pallbearers will be brothers, Joe, Gabriel, John, Ray, Jesse, and Victor. Interment will follow at 1 p.m. at the DFW National Cemetery, Dallas.
