Rodney Lee Doughty, age 67
January 2, 1938
December 7, 2005

Mr. Doughty passed away at his residence in Waxahachie early Wednesday morning. He was born in McAllen, TX. to Reginald Aubry and Mildred Pearl (Jones) Doughty. Mr. Doughty was a master plumber by trade. He was a member of the Highland Meadows Assembly of God Church.

His survivors include: his wife, Patty Doughty of Waxahachie; sons, Jay Brent Doughty and Bradley Craig Doughty, both of Red Oak; daughters, Deborah Sue Duren of Glenn Heights and Sabrina Lynn Husack of Ovilla; brother, John Wayne Doughty of CA.; sister, Francis Doughty Combs of CA.; fourteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Rodney Lee Doughty, Jr.; and one brother, William Claude Doughty.

The family will receive friends and relatives 7-9 PM Friday at the Red Oak Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life will be 2 PM Saturday, December 10, 2005 also in the Red Oak Chapel of the funeral home with Reverend Larry Combs officiating. Pallbearers will be Chris Husack, Shane Doughty, Derek Duren, Nathan Doughty, Josh Husack and Seaver Duren. Interment will follow in the Red Oak Cemetery.
