Roberto DeLeon Pena, 70, of Waxahachie, Texas passed away Sunday, March 02, 2014 at his residence. He was born June 02, 1943 in Bishop, Texas to the late Jacinto and Lilia DeLeon Pena. He worked for Owens Corning Fiberglass for 35 years and was a warehouse supervisor for many years. He loved to watch baseball, racing and any kinds of sports, he also had a true love for music and at one time played in his own band. He will be dearly missed by his family, friends and all that knew him and loved him. He is survived by his wife Amy Pena; Daughters: Bobbie York, Laurie Pena, Vickie & James Kendrick; Sons: Ryan & Nicole Green, Jonathon & Tara Alford; Grandchildren: Ashley Hernandez, Andrew Barron, Cody Kendrick, Jaymie Kendrick, Aleyson Green, Ryan Green, Jr., Reyana Cervantes, Sirena Cervantes, Thailee Cervantes, Rylee Green, Dylan Santos, Kyler Land, Jonny Hodge, Bentley Alford, Kabryn Alford; Great Grand Daughter: McCayla York; Brothers: Hector & Wanda Pena, Humberto & Roxann Pena, Pedro & Traci Pena, Victor Pena, Ovidio & Chandra Pena, Xavier Pena, Jose Pena; 1 Sister: Maria Day, Numerous Nieces and Nephews & Great Nieces and Great Nephews. Services to celebrate his life are scheduled for 10:00 AM Thursday, March 06, 2014 at the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Hughes Cemetery in Avalon, Texas. Visitation with the family will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday, March 05, 2014 at Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
