Robert Henry Swayne, age 82
October 19, 1923
February 20, 2006

Mr. Swayne passed away Monday morning in Maypearl, TX. He was born in Upper Darby, PA. to Edward Werner and Esther (Young) Swayne. He was an Electrical Engineer in the secular world. Mr. Swayne was a retired ordained Presbyterian Church of America Minister. He served as a missionary in Peru for six years and was also a WWII Air Force Veteran.

His survivors are: his wife, Dorothy Swayne of Wylie, TX.; sons, Robert Swayne of Almond, N.Y., Philip Swayne of Maypearl, TX., Bill Swayne of Wylie, TX.; daughters, Priscilla Puz of Uxbridge, MA., Ruthie Wright of Wylie, TX., Elizabeth Swayne of Chapel Hill, N.C.; seventeen grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.

The family will receive friends and relatives 1-2 PM Thursday at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home. The Celebration of his Life will be 2 PM, Thursday, February 23, 2006 in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Bill Swayne, Phil Swayne, Robert Swayne Jr., Priscilla Puz, Ruthie Wright and Elizabeth Swayne. Interment will follow in the Oak Branch Cemetery.
