Robert Shook

Robert Eugene Shook passed away peacefully at his home in Waxahachie, Texas on February 17, 2013. He was born on March 20, 1934 in Buffalo, Texas to Robert L. & Jimmie E. Brown Shook. He was an Air Force Veteran a member of the Waxahachie Masonic Lodge # 90 and a life member of the Scottish Rite of Free Masonry. Robert retired from D.A.R.T. after many years of service in 1996. He will be dearly missed by his family and everyone who knew him and loved him. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years Barbara Louise Shook of Waxahachie, 4 Sons: Robert E. & Terri Shook of Corsicana, Texas; Walter Shook of Waxahachie, Paige L. & Sue Shook of Dorothy , New Jersey and Jeff L. & Jennifer Davis Shook of Midlothian, Texas; 4 Daughters: Quincy Pearl Epley of Dallas TX., Kathy Sue Shook of Dallas, Texas, Sandra & Richard Carouth of Mesquite, Texas and Avender Shook of Kaufman, Texas and our adopted "Yankee" Shelley Williams of Mesquite, Texas. 2 Sisters: Lou Cadell and Joyce Rouse; 22 Grandchildren; 9 Great Grandchildren Services to celebrate his life are scheduled for 9:00 AM Thursday, February 21, 2013 at the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home with Dr. Bob Cavin officiating. Interment will follow at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery .Visitation with the family will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at the funeral home. 1 Corinthians 13:13 And now these three remain: Faith, Hope and Love. But the greatest of these is Love.
