Robert Earl Reynolds, 76 of Waxahachie, passed away Saturday, July 25, 2009 at Renfro Healthcare in Waxahachie. He was born to the late William H. and Nannie Stewart Reynolds on March 7, 1933 in Garland, Texas.
Robert enjoyed going to Flea Markets and loved motorcycles and drag racing. He proudly served our country in the United States Army. You could always find Robert helping others and wanting nothing in return. Once you became his friend, you had a friend for life. Robert will be missed by his family and so many friends who loved him.
He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Joyce Reynolds of Waxahachie; his son, Billy Wayne Shepard of Waxahachie; his sister, Mary Davis and her husband, Curtis of Hico, Texas; and his grandchidren, Elizabeth and Rebecca Shepard.
He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 sisters, Bettie Morris, Margie Melin and one brother, Jerry Wayne Reynolds.
A memorial service to celebrate his life is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 28, 2009 at the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
Visitation for family and friends will be held at the Reynolds home.
