Robert Leu

Robert Wayne Leu, 82, passed away on January 21, 2018 in Mansfield, Texas. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, February 12, 2018 in the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery located at 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway in Dallas with Minister Steve Bailey from Brown Street Church of Christ officiating.

Robert was born in the summer of 1935 to Henry and Hazel Leu in Fairfield, Iowa. He served in Army during the Korean War from 1954 to 1956. Robert retired from Chaparral Steel in Midlothian. His main goal in life was to make others happy. To know him was to instantly love him, his family and friends will miss him greatly.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Glenna D. Leu (October 1998) and his son, Stan Leu (November 1998).

He is survived by his wife, Robbie Leu; brother, Carroll Leu and his wife, Marsha; former daughter in-law, Belinda Leu; grandchildren, Jordan Leu and his wife, Erin, and Justin Leu and his fiancé, Madeline; great grandchild, George Matthew Leu; step daughter, Kim Hensley and her husband, Mark; step grandchildren, Garrett Hensley and his wife, Olivia, Rayce Hensley, Samantha Ledbetter and Haylee Barge and her husband, Kasey.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to the Brown Street Church of Christ Building Fund.

Wayne Boze Funeral Home in Waxahachie is in charge of the arrangements.
