Mr. Hatten passed away October 11, 2008 in Red Oak. He was born in Hattiesburg, MS. June 24, 1952 to the late Lewis L. and Velma R. (Shepard) Hatten.

Mr. Hatten is survived by his sons: Jeffrey L. Hatten and wife Connie of Midlothian, TX., Kevin L. Hatten and wife Brenna of Midlothian, TX., and Michael R. Hatten of Midlothian, TX.; sister, Sandra A. Walters and husband Robert of AR.; five grandchildren: Kaleb, Allie, Rachel, Brilynn, and Joshua, all of Midlothian, TX. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Jennifer Hatten.

The family will receive friends and relatives 6-8 PM Tuesday at the Red Oak Funeral Home. The Celebration of his life will be 10 AM Wednesday, October 15, 2008 at the Red Oak Funeral Home with Phil Lynch officiating. Interment will follow at Shiloh Cemetery.
