Bobby Gene Grubbs, Sr., age 73

Mr. Grubbs passed away Friday , October 21, 2005. He was preceded in death by his wife, Tiny Bea Hamel Grubbs.

His survivors include: sons, David Grubbs, Bobby Grubbs, Jr. and Danny Grubbs; daughters, Sherry Hatfield, Rebecca Cobb and Starla Moses.He had seventeen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.

Mr. Grubbs was born in Roxton, TX. and grew up in the Paris area before moving to Dallas. Since 1973, he has resided in Red Oak, where he owned and operated a sign business with his son, Danny.

He will always be remembered for his great sense of humor and his simple way of enjoying life.

The family received friends and relatives 6-8 PM Sunday at the Red Oak Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be 2 PM Tuesday, October 25, 2005 at the Red Oak Cemetery with Donnie Jordan officiating. Interment will follow. Pallbearers will be Mr. Grubbs grandsons.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Red Oak Funeral Home.
