Mr. Freeman passed away Wednesday, January 28, 2009 at his home in Red Oak.
He was born in Belmont, N.C. to the late Forrest C. and Gertrude (Hufstetler) Freeman Sr.

Mr. Freeman is survived by his wife Nancy Freeman, daughters and sons-in-law, Pamelas and Shane Harp of Red Oak, Susan and Scott Nied of Colleyville, brothers J.C. Chaney, Forrest Freeman Jr., and Norman Freeman all of North Carolina. Also surviving are grandchildren, Lacy Rodgers, Ashley Nied, Shae Harp and Jake Harp.

Mr. Freeman served in the U.S. Army and was an avid bowler. He retired from IBM after 26 years as business manager.

Visitation will be Sunday, February 1, 2009 from 2 to 4 PM at Red Oak Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be Tuesday, February 3, 2009 at 11 AM at Steele Creek Presbyterian
Church in Charlotte, North Carolina. Interment will follow in the Steele Creek Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of Red Oak Funeral Home.
