Robert Cotter, Sr.

Robert Charles Cotter, Sr. 75, of Waxahachie, passed away Thursday, March 24, 2016 in Dallas. He was born October 30, 1940 in Melissa, Texas to Cleo Vincent Cotter and Faye Schaffer Cotter.

He enjoyed Bluegrass music, driving his trucks, camping and fishing. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family. He will be missed and continually loved.

He is survived by his loving wife, June Cotter; his sons, Bob Cotter and James Cotter; his grandchildren, Danielle Cotter, Shane Cotter, Emily Gilliland, Ashleigh Cotter and Joey Cotter; his great grandchildren, Abraham Copeland, Emma Copeland, Cael Gilliland and Seila Cotter.

He was preceded in death by his father, Cleo Cotter; his mother, Faye Cotter; his sister, Regina Summers; and also by his grandson, Andrew Cotter.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Saturday, March 26, 2016 at Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
