Rita Roadman

Rita Roadman, 62 of Red Oak, passed away Tuesday, December 24, 2013 at Baylor Waxahachie. She was born March 4, 1957. She is survived by her husband, John Wesley Roadman III; sons, John Wesley Roadman IV, and Logan E Roadman; brother, James Homer Brooks; sister, Lewis and Lester Campbell; aunts and uncles, Levale Reeves, Travis Reeves; cousins, Bo Brooks, Kim Thirlker and Katy Brooks; nieces and nephews, Jess Brooks, Perlen and Marvin Miller, La June and Don Whitingham and Butch Rouse. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Almada Brooks; her brothers, Jesse Brooks, Johnny Brooks and Don Daves; she was also preceded by her aunt, Lele May Rouse. Rita was from Mississippi but currently lived in Red Oak, Texas. She loved to go to church. Her home church was Highland Meadow Assembly of God in Red Oak Texas and she loved to travel. She also enjoyed going to thrift stores. She was married to John Wesley Roadman III for 41 years. Her favorite scripture is Psalms: 23. She was a loving mother and wife. She loved life and God with all her heart. She will be missed very much by all who knew her and loved her. Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at the Waxahachie City Cemetery.
