Ricky "Dick" Barnaby, 53 of Waxahachie, passed away Wednesday, November 12, 2008 at Baylor Medical Center of Waxahachie. He was born December 27, 1954 in Dallas, Texas.
Ricky worked for Owens-Corning for 33 years. He enjoyed watching football, playing video games, and camping. He loved to go to Whitney and spend time on his property and loved spending time with his family. One of his favorite things he enjoyed most was the Scarbourgh Fair. He will be missed by so many who knew him and loved him.
He is survived by his loving wife, Dena Barnaby of Waxahachie; his daughters, Renee Barnaby of Bardwell, Kaysa Johnson and her husband, Jeremiah of Pecan Hill, Catherine Barnaby of Waxahachie; his son, Ricky Barnaby, II and his wife, Aireal of Waxahachie; his sister, Charmaine Bellamy of Girley, AL; his 6 grandchildren, Miah Johnson, Jason Rogers, Jeremiah Johnson, Jr., Mystery Johnson, Jonathon Barnaby, Jayden Barnaby; and numerous loved ones that called him Dad.
He was preceded in death by his father, John L. Barnaby; his step-mother, Doris Barnaby; mother-in-law, Mary Turner; sister-in-law, Cathy Kennedy; brother-in-law, Tommy Turner.
Memorial services to celebrate his life are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 15, 2008 at the South Prong Baptist Church of Waxahachie.
