Ricardo Gonzales, age 62

Mr. Gonzales passed away Friday at his Lancaster residence. He was born in Hines, South Texas to Jose and Ofilia (Villareal) Gonzales. He married Anna Gonzales May 7, 1965 in Lubbock, TX. They moved to Dallas in 1968 where he was a self employed brick mason. In 1990 they moved to Lancaster where he was a member of The Harvest Time Church.

His survivors include: his wife, Anna Gonzales of Lancaster; mother, Ofilia Villareal of Pearland; sons and daughters-in-law, Samuel and Rachael Gonzales of Garland, Gabriel Thomas and Elizabeth Gonzales of Lancaster; daughter, Catherina Gonzales and Arthur Rodriguez of Lancaster; sisters and brothers-in-law, Ester and Joe Lopez of Lancaster, Yolanda and Joel Gutierrez of Pearland; grandchildren, Michael Gonzales, Sebastian Rodriguez, Estevan Rodriguez and Zachary Rodriguez. He was preceded in death by his father and brothers, Eduardo and Jose, Jr.

The family will receive friends and relatives 6-8 PM Sunday and Monday evenings at the Red Oak Funeral Home. The Celebration of his Life will be 10 AM Tuesday, April 18, 2006 at the Red Oak Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Gonzales officiating. Interment will follow in the Red Oak Cemetery.
