Rex Paul Lindley, born May 29,1961-Feb 19, 2010. After a courageous battle of cancer he passed away at home with his wife at his side. Rex was born in Logan, Utah and was raised in Bountiful Utah. He graduated from Bountiful High School. He received a degree in Accounting from Weber State University. Rex is the oldest of 5 children. He was born to Edell and Paul Lindley. He was the beloved husband of Tauna Jo Louder they were married December 15, 1995 and Sealed for Time and all Eternity in the Dallas LDS Temple July 9th, 2010. Father of Talisa Jo Myers (Blake) and grandfather to McCoy B Myers. He will be forever remembered as the big brother to Lanice Murphy (Dennis), Diane Henderson, Christine Melvick (Richard), Janette Windam (Rob). Uncle to Russell, Collette, Ethan, Anna lise, Trey and Rex. Along with countless other friends and family whom were blessed to know him. He is preceded in death by both sets of grandparents Mark and Beatrice Lindley, Ross and Alice Higley, and his sweet dog Bandit. Rex was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He served an honorable 2 year mission for his church to Arcadia, California. Rex was and Eagle scout and loved working with people in his church. He served in many areas of his church. Rex loved teaching the children at his church. Although Rex has lived in Utah, Georgia and Texas, Texas is where his true heart was. He has worked for Ennis Inc. since 2002 as an Accountant, Corporate Controller and most recent Software Implantation Manager. He truly felt like everyone he worked with was like family. Rex loved music. He loved to play the guitar, that is how he won his wife's heart. He love to play the banjo and listening to Blue Grass Music. Rex loved to help with drag race cars anytime he got the chance. He loved to help and talk with people anytime he could. He always wanted people to be grateful every day. Rex loved his family dearly and enjoyed they time he got to spend with them. Rex touched the lives of many people with his smile and generosity, and maintained his trademark sense of humor all the way to the end. When people came to visit, Rex made them always feel like royalty. Funeral services will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ on Saturday Feb 25, 2010 at 1:00. 2418 Brown St, Waxahachie, Texas. Visitation Friday Feb 24 6-8pm. Wayne Boze Funeral Home, 1826 W highway 287 Business, Waxahachie, TX. Burial will be in Wellsville, Utah.
