Reba Hortense Clark, age 89

Mrs. Clark passed away Thursday at the Baylor Medical Center, Waxahachie. She was born in House, Mississippi to John H. and Rebecca Jane (Joyner) Smith. Mrs. Clark was a housewife and a nurse. She married James Clark, who preceded her in death in December 1998. She had lived the past ten years in Red Oak, moving from Noxapater, Mississippi. Mrs. Clark attended Highland Meadows Assembly of God, Red Oak. She was a member of the Hieght Assembly of God in Mississippi.

Her survivors include: sons, Bill Harvey Smith and wife Constance of Red Oak, Daniel Glenn Smith and wife Beverly of Duncanville; daughters, Memory Jane Thomas of Sanger, TX., Rebecca Sue Lowe and husband Dwight of Alabama; fourteen grandchildren and many great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands Harvey Smith and James Clark, one brother and two sisters.

Mrs. Clark will lie in state Saturday at the Red Oak Funeral Home. The Celebration of her Life will be 2 PM Tuesday, April 18, 2006 at the Red Oak Chapel with 11 AM graveside services, Thursday, April 20, 2006 at the Hieght Assembly of God Church Cemetery, Noxapater, MS.
