God's Jewel
Many call him just a preacher
But to Sheppard Heights, He's even more.
A friend, a hero, even a teacher,
And for that, we truly thank the Lord.
He gives his whole heart,
Loving us right from the start.
His eyes to see us through our trials,
Although it may take many miles.
His ears to listen when we cry,
As each day passes by.
His mouth to preach God's will,
And to encourage us over every hill.
His shoulders are ever so strong,
We know we can lean on them all day long.
His arms to reach out to those who sin,
Praying one day their souls he'll win.
His hands to anoint us with the oil,
Guiding us through out daily turmoil.
His knees to kneel in prayer,
We can count on him to always be there.
His feet will lead us to The Way,
Guiding us day by day.
We want you to know, Bro. Ray Sewell,
We think you are truly God's jewel.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
