Raymond W. Parrish, age 87

Mr. Parrish passed away at his Waxahachie residence Wednesday morning. He was born in Sardis, TX. to J. W. and Viva (Wilson) Parrish. He was a WWII Army Veteran and a member of the Farley Street Baptist Church.

He is survived by: his wife of 66 years, Edna E. Parrish, of Waxahachie; aunt, Doryne Pyle of Kansas City, MO.; brother-in-law, Troy Flowers and his wife Helen of Waxahachie; niece, Carolyn Strength and her husband Darrell also of Waxahachie; great nieces, Tina Cobb and her husband Christopher and Amy Strength; great nephew, Michael Strength and wife Jessica; great great niece, Jordan Ratzman; great great nephew, Caleb Strength; and Taylor and Bailey Strength. He was preceded in death by his parents.

The family will receive friends and relatives 6-8 PM Thursday at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life will be 10 AM Friday, July 30, 2004 in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Reverend Jack McDaniel officiating. Entombment will follow at the Greenwood Mausoleum, Ft. Worth, Texas.
