Mr. Teague passed away at Charlton Methodist Hospital on July 24, 2008. He was born in Tulia, Texas on May 10, 1948 to Silas Afton and Mary Neil (Kindrick) Teague.

Mr. Teague was an aircraft and history buff. He loved to travel and was a voracious reader of history and books on past warfare. He was a dedicated Marine, serving in that branch of service for seven and a half years, and was elected Chairman of the VMF-VMFA 115 Marine Reunion Association.

Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Emily Teague of Oak Leaf, Texas; his Father and Mother, Silas and Mary Nell Teague of Amarillo; his son, Greg Teague and wife Janel of Tucson, Arizona and two brothers, Ken Teague and wife Judy, and Joe Teague and wife Deborah, both of Amarillo. Also surviving is his sister, The Honorable Kathy Hardcastle of Las Vegas, Nevada; very special family members; Shawna and DeWayne Ditmore of Canadian, Tx; Mother-in-law, Milda Kasper of Giddings, Texas and Brother-in-law, Franklin Kasper and wife LaVon of Smithville, Tx; as well as several nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles.

Graveside Service is planned for 2:30 P.M., Wednesday, July 30, 2008 , Lane B, DFW National Cemetery.
