Ray Scott

Ray Scott, 64 of Waxahachie, passed away Friday, October 26, 2012 at his home, surrounded by his loving family. Ray was born on April 30, 1948 in Aurora, AR to the late Ralph and Edna Walden Scott. Ray was a retired home builder and built his beautiful home with his own hands. It was there that he felt comfort and loved spending time with his family. He loved working in his shop, restoring old cars and he loved music. Ray leaves behind so many who will forever love and miss him. He is survived by his loving wife, Gina Jones Scott of Waxahachie; his daughter, Wendi Lopez and her husband, Adrian (GySgt, USMC) and grandchildren, Mason and Reagan Lopez, all of San Diego, CA. Ray was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Ross, Rex, Raymond and Ricky Scott. Memorial services to celebrate his life are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Thursday, November 1, 2012 at the home of Ray and Gina, Waxahachie, Texas.
