Ranel Leo Kruger, 46, of Waxahachie, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, December 4, 2012 surrounded by his loving family. He was born to Johnny and Barbara Kruger on October 17, 1966 in Waxahachie. Randy graduated from Lancaster High School in 1985. He married, Donna, the love of his life on January 6, 1990. His passion in life was football and he could tell you anything you wanted to know about teams, players, and rankings. He loved all sports and volunteered for many of the youth sports organizations in Waxahachie over the years. He loved coaching his daughters' basketball and softball teams while they were growing up. Randy loved life, was full of life, and had the biggest heart. He never met a stranger and helped anyone who needed it. He was loved by many and will be missed by all. He is survived by his loving wife, Donna of Waxahachie; his daughters Megan Whitford and her husband John of Waxahachie, Raynie Hancock and her husband Leslie of Franklin, TX; his parents Johnny and Barbara Kruger of Lancaster, TX, his sister Kimberly Carter and her husband John of Colorado Springs, CO; special nieces Amanda and Haley Cox and Sarah Carter; his grandchildren who were the light of his life, Will and Westin Whitford and Kayden and Kensley Hancock, as well as his loving aunts, uncles cousins, and numerous friends. He was preceded in death by his son, John Coffman Kruger and his grandparents Leo and Edna Kruger and Ranel and Aline Perdue. A memorial service to celebrate his life is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 8, 2012 at Wayne Boze Funeral Home in Waxahachie. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, December 7, 2012 at Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
