Randy Sargent

Randy Joe Sargent passed away on Friday, July 10th in Waxahachie, Texas.

Randy was a proud veteran as a Hospital Corpsman in the United States Navy serving for 6 years.  He was commissioned to was the USS Blueridge LCC-19, the command communications ship during the evacuation of Vietnam. Randy spent a total of 30 years working at Burlington Northern Railroad and Union Pacific Railroad as a Field Engineer. Randy has always been a strong, determined fighter, and was a proud cancer survivor of over 10 years. He loved his family deeply.

Randy was survived by his Wife, Susan of 43 years, Daughter: Amanda, Son in law, Toby, Grandson, Dax, Son: Kenny, Son in law, Kelrick, and Grandsons, Luca and Finn, Brother, Rodney,

Sister, Carolyn, and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded by his Parents: Kenneth and Jolene Sargent, Brother, Clyde Sargent

A small family service will take place on Saturday, July 18th at 11 am,  at the home of Amanda Hardeman in Midlothian Texas and will be held over Zoom for those who are not able to attend. Please email Amanda for the Zoom Link at amandah@fmcm.org.
