Rachel Wallace

Rachel Allene Brown Wallace, 82 of Waxahachie, passed away Wednesday, September 24, 2014 in Waxahachie. She was born September 21, 1932 in Colorado City, Texas to the late Samuel J. Brown and Effie M. Trammell Brown. Rachel retired from Alamogordo NM public Schools. After retirement she volunteered at Memorial Medical Center at Las Cruces, NM. She and Waymon Wallace were married for 49 years. Waymon passed away July 17, 1999. Rachel resided in Alamogordo and Las Cruces NM until 2006. She will be missed and continually loved by so many. She is survived by her children, Wanda Graham and husband, Walt of Highlands Ranch, CO, Paul Wallace and his wife, Barbara of Maypearl and Naomi Boser of El Mirage, AZ; her sister, Elsie Faye Brown of Waxahachie; her grandchildren, Heath Graham, Jillian Passardi, Jacob Wallace, Jenica Wallace, Rodney Holliday, Michael Holliday, Joe Boser, Jaclyn Boser and Jerry Boser; her great grandchildren, Alexander, Isaac, Celina, Noah, Ryan, Hayle, Jessie, Rylee, Jade, Corey, Jordan, Emily-Dawn and Jackson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Waymon Wallace; her father and mother, Samuel Jerry Brown and Effie May Brown; her sisters, Inez Hill, Coy Flowers, Lucille Moss; her brothers, Joe Bob Brown, Oca Brown, Floyd Brown, Sr. and Marvin Eugene Brown. Services to celebrate her life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 28, 2014 in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home with Rev. Dale Shorter officiating. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at the Masonic Cemetery in Las Cruces, NM.
