Ms. Garcia passed away late Tuesday evening in Dallas. Rachel was born to Fidel T. Castillo and Mary (Martinez) Castillo in Waxahachie, TX. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church.

She is survived by: her mother, Mary Castillo of Waxahachie, TX; daughters, Cassie Garcia, Desiree Garcia, Karla Garcia and Elizabeth Garcia all of Waxahachie, TX; brothers, Daniel Castillo of Waxahachie, TX; Carlos Castillo of Cedar Hill, TX; Gilbert Castillo of College Station, TX; Fidel Castillo Jr. of Waxahachie, TX; Barney Castillo of Waxahachie, TX Robert Castillo of Waxahachie, TX; John Castillo of Ennis, TX; sisters, Patsy Gutierrez, Graci Castillo and Carmen Castillo, all of Waxhachie; and numerous nieces and nephews.

There will be a 7 PM Rosary for Rachel Friday April 15, 2005 at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home. The Mass of Christian Burial will be 1 PM Saturday April 16, 2005 at the St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Michael Guadagnoli Celebrant. Pallbearers will be Rachel's brothers: Daniel Castillo, Carlos Castillo, Gilbert Castillo, Fidel Castillo Jr., Barney Castillo, and Robert Castillo. Interment will follow in the Waxahachie City Cemetery.
