Phyllis Jennings May 18, 1919 January 24, 2011 Phyllis Jennings, 91 of Lorena, passed away Monday, January 24, 2011 at her residence in Lorena. She was born to the late Howard and Eva MacPherson on May 18, 1919 in Bridgewater, ME. Phyllis was an avid teacher; loved to write and enjoyed collecting antique spoons. She loved to play bridge and spent her life loving to be on stage. She will be greatly missed, never forgotten and continually loved. She is survived by her son, Dr. Howard Axtell and his wife, Beverlee of Lorena; her daughter, Eva Hunter and her husband, Bruce of Denton; her stepdaughter Montessa Jennings Fiveash: her brother, Claire MacPherson and his wife, Ann of Richmond, Tx.; 13 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mont L. Jennings; her children, Florence Mae Malone, and Joseph Walter Axtell, Jr.; and by her grandson, Michael Howard Axtell.
