Phillip Reynolds, age 54 of Maypearl , was taken to be with his Lord on November 15, 2005 by a heart attack. He was born in Waxahachie, TX. to the late Bennie Ray Reynolds and Lou Ann Phillips Reynolds, who survives him. Phillip was a lifetime resident of Maypearl. He had worked the past twenty three years for TXU as an accounting clerk. He loved to fish, garden, and live in the country. Spending time with his grandkids was especially enjoyable for Phillip. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Maypearl.

His survivors include: his wife of 30 years, Claudia DeWees Reynolds of Maypearl; daughters, SSgt. Robin Clements and husband SSgt. Ryan Clements of Jacksonville, N.C., and Tracy Spear and husband David of Waxahachie; his mother, Lou Ann Reynolds of Maypearl; sister and brother-in-law, Beverly and James Richards of Maypearl; grandchildren: Peter Wray, Nicholas and Cody of Jacksonville, N.C., and Courtney of Waxahachie; and numerous other nephews, nieces and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father.

The family will receive friends and relatives 6-8 PM Friday at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home. The Celebration of his Life will be 10 AM Saturday, November 19, 2005 in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with the Pastor of the First Baptist Church of Maypearl, Tony Sheffield, officiating. Pallbearers will be: Lee Crow, Lew Crow, Morgan Ellis, Gary Herrell, Steve Smith and Ted Vaughn. Honorary Pallbearers will be Don Hildreth, Jake Simmons and Nor Wade. Interment will follow in the Maypearl Cemetery.

Contributions may be made to the Maypearl Fire Department, P. O. Box 605, Maypearl, TX., 76064 or the American Heart Association in memory of Phillip.
