Phillip Theodore Grogan passed away Friday afternoon at his daughter's home in Red Oak. He was born to Earl and Ruby Louise (Cawthorn) Ray in Dallas, Texas on May 28, 1933. He was married to Doris Marie Grogan for 51 years, and was a retired Aircraft Engineer.

His survivors include wife Doris Marie Grogan; three sons: Phillip Glen Grogan of Dallas, Raymond Nugent of Waxahachie, and Dennis Earl Grogan of Plano; Five daughters: Pattie Lynn Grogan of Dallas, Phyllis Lynn Powell of Cedar Hill, Jonna Strickland of Dallas, Theodonna Grogan of Red Oak, and Sherrie Dawkins of Arlington; fourteen Grandchildren and four Great Grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by parents Earl and Ruby Louise Ray.

The family will receive friends and relatives from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday August 28, 2006 at the Red Oak Funeral Home. A Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 29, 2006 at Red Oak Cemetery in Red Oak, Texas.
