Mr. Adams passed away Wednesday morning at the Baylor Medical Center, Waxahachie.
He was born November 30, 1940 in Hamilton County, Illinois to William Norman Adams and Opal (Williams) Adams. Mr. Adams was a self employed carpenter and had worked at various auto dealerships in the area. He was a member of the Ranchhouse Cowboy Church in Maypearl, Texas. He served for several years in the Air Force.

Survivors include his companion Glenda Bower; a son Todd Adams and his wife Jennifer of Mississippi; a daughter Tina Adams and companion Allen Campbell of Lewisville, Texas; one brother Wayne Adams of Illinois and one sister Fern Sanders also if Illinois. Also surviving are three grandchildren, Jake Adams of Mississippi and Kristi and Chelsie Campbell of Lewisville. He was preceded in death by his parents.

The family will receive friends and relatives from 4 to 6 PM Sunday, June 10, 2007 at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held Monday, June 11 at 10 AM at the DFW National Cemetery, Dallas, Texas, with Michael Bower officiating.

In lieu of flowers,the family asks that donations be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 5429 LBJ Fwy, Ste 630, Dallas, Tx. 75240
