Peggy Louise Dickey, 68 of Red Oak, passed away Monday, October 08, 2012 in Red Oak surrounded by her loving family. She was born on April 26, 1944 in Cheyenne, WY. Peggy was a very giving and compassionate person. You could always find her volunteering her time at the local VFW where she served as past president. She also loved volunteering at the VA Hospital and always brightened the day of the veterans she met and talked to. Peggy loved making Thanksgiving baskets and giving out Christmas gifts during the holidays. She was a hard worker and a good employee everywhere she worked throughout her life, having received numerous accommodations. Peggy's big heart and smile will be greatly missed. She is survived by her husband, David Dickey of Red Oak; her son, Dale Dickey and his wife, Regina of Houston; her daughters, Rebecca Beck of Palmer, and Luara Boaz and her husband, Randy of Dawson; her sister, Delores Salyer of Benton, AR; and 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Angst and also by her mother, Iris Angst. Graveside services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Thursday, October 11, 2012 at the Red Oak Cemetery with Rev. W. R. Upton officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home. If desired, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.
