Peggy J. Browning June 19, 1939 May 28, 2010 Peggy J. Browning, 70 or Waxahachie, passed away Friday, May 28, 2010 at her residence in Waxahachie. She was born on June 19, 1939 in Kilgore, Texas to the late James and Delma Cobb Greer. Peggy loved to fish, hunt and go camping. She loved the water and spending time with her family. Peggy loved helping others and always thought of others and her family before thinking of herself. She is survived by her loving husband, Robert "Bobby" Browning of Waxahachie; her her son, Hugh Gene Smith, Jr. and his wife, Jan of Dallas; her step son, Jeff Browning of Waxahachie; her brother, Jimmy Dale Greer of Wautauga, Texas; her sisters-in-law, Barbara Southard and her husband, Gilliam of Waxahachie, Pat Freeman of Waxahachie; her brothers-in-law, Charles Browning and his wife, Dixie of Waxahachie, Eddie Browning and his wife, Faye of Cedar Hill; John Browning and his wife Rethea of Tuscon, AZ; her granddaughter, Calvin Ruth Smith; her step grandson, Jacob Browning of Dallas. Peggy was preceded in death by her parents. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 1, 2010 at the Rosemont Cemetery, Waxahachie, with Dean Kilmer officiating. Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. with the family being present from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, May 31, 2010 at Wayne Boze Funeral Home. www.waynebozefuneralhome.com
