Pedro Alejandre

Pedro “Pete” Alejandre earned his celestial wings at the age of 66 on Friday, May 14, 2021.  He was a resident of Waxahachie, Texas and a proud retiree of Owens Corning.  He was born in Caracuaro de Morelos, Michoacan, Mexico on November 16, 1954.  He loved life and all it had to offer and learned to value it through his struggle and sacrifice of traveling here to pave the way for a better life for himself and his beloved siblings.

Pete is preceeded in death by his parents, Pedro Alejandre and Angelina Saucedo, his sister Loreto, and brothers, Innocente, Nicasio Alejandre, and Aureliano Fuerte.

He is survived by his beautiful wife Elena Alejandre, daughter Desirea Munoz, sons Jonathan Alejandre and Joe Martinez III, grandchildren Nikoli, Eliana and Giana Munoz, Damien, Jayden, Maverick and Faith Alejandre, Ziggy and Lola Martinez, Spring Drummond, and great-grandson, Auzzy Woodard.  He is also survived by his brothers Coleto, Gregorio, Manuel, Ismael, Jesus, and Gustavo Alejandre, Hector Nau Rodriguez, and Piedad Fuerte; along with sisters Emperatriz Alejandre, Petra De La Cruz, Humildad Solares, and Sahara Alejandre, and numerous nieces and nephews whom he loved as his own and an abundance of lifelong friends that became family.  We will always be grateful for the care he received from doctors, Dr. Ijaz and numerous hospital caretakers and nurses, especially the nurse he called “La Pretty Eyes.”

Pete, the life of the party, always a jokester with a mischievous smile on his face, loved living life to the fullest, even with the simplest pleasures.  If you knew Pete, then you know how much he loved and enjoyed being with people from all walks of life.  In his eye, no one was a stranger; just a friend he hadn’t spoken to yet.  Everyone was drawn to his kind and humble spirit and he always tried his best to be a peacemaker.  He was always willing to give a helping hand or pour you a drink, whichever made you happier.  As people knew, hanging out with him would end in a night full of laugher, shots, and major hangovers.  But hey, hangovers are temporary, and memories last a lifetime!  Pete had a larger-than-life persona and would light up a room with his charismatic ways and smooth talkin’, that even the fellas knew to hold their ladies a bit closer.  Of all the lives he touched, he was most proud of his loving wife Elena, whose beautiful soul stole his heart and supported him through all his primetime glory days and cared for him physically during their last days together.  He cherished her.

No worries Pete, we will always be sure Elena is taken care of.  You will be missed early and will never be forgotten.  Until we meet again…. continue to shine bright, keep the music going, and dance ‘til your boots fall off in your new heavenly home.

Pedro “Pete” Alejandre recibió sus alas celestiales a la edad de 66 años el viernes 14 de mayo del 2021.  Fue residente de Waxahachie Texas y un orgulloso jubilado de Owens Corning.  Nació en Carácuaro de Morelos, Michoacán, México el 16 de noviembre de 1954.  El amaba la vida y todo lo que la vida le ofrecía; aprendiendo a valorar la a través de sus luchas y sacrificio de viajar hasta los estados unidos para hacer el camino para una mejor vida para el y sus queridos hermanos.

Pete fue precedido en la muerte por sus padres Pedro Alejandre y Angelina Saucedo, su hermana Loreto, y sus hermanos Innocente, Nicasio Alejandre, y Aureliano Fuerte.

Le sobreviven su hermosa esposa Elena, hija Desirea Muñoz, hijos Jonathan Alejandre y Joe Martínez III, nietos Nikoli, Eliana y Giana Muñoz, Damien, Jayden, Maverick y Faith Alejandre, Ziggy y Lola Martínez, Spring Drummond, y su bisnieto Auzzy Woodard.  También le sobreviven sus hermanos Coleto, Gregorio, Manuel, Ismael, Jesús, y Gustavo Alejandre, Héctor Nau Rodriguez, Piedad Fuerte, y sus hermanas Emperatriz Alejandre, Petra De la Cruz, Humildad Solares, y Sahara Alejandre; igual que numerosos sobrinos y sobrinas a los cuales él amaba como si fueran de él, y una gran cantidad de amigos de toda la vida que se convirtieron en familia.  Siempre estaremos agradecidos de el cuidado que recibió por los doctores, Dr. Ijaz, y todos los cuidadores y enfermeras especialmente la que el llamaba “La Pretty Eyes.”

Pete, la alegría de la fiesta, siempre de chistoso y con una sonrisa traviesa, amaba vivir su vida a lo máximo y hasta con los placeres mas simples.  Si conocías a Pete, sabias que tanto amaba y disfrutaba a las personas de todos los caminos de la vida.  En sus ojos no desconocía a ningún extraño, solo un amigo con quien aún no había platicado.  Todo el mundo estaba atraído a su espíritu tan humilde y amable y siempre trato todo lo posible por ser un pacificador.  Siempre dispuesto a darte la mano o una cerveza, cualquiera que te hiciera mas feliz.  Como todos sabían, pasar tiempo con el siempre terminaba con una noche llena de mucha risa, tragos, y una gran cruda.  ¡Pero la cruda es temporal, y estos recuerdos duran por vida!  Pete tenía una personalidad más grande que la vida y iluminaba cualquier cuarto con su carisma y su modo de hablar suave, que hasta los muchachos sabían mantener a sus damas un poco más cerca.

Pero de todas las vidas que cruzaron su camino, el era mas orgulloso de su querida esposa Elena, que cual su hermosa alma robo su corazón y lo apoyo durante sus días gloriosos y de fiesta, pero también lo cuido físicamente durante sus últimos días juntos.  ¡El la amaba!

No te preocupes Pete que siempre cuidaremos a Elena.  Se te va a extrañar tanto y nunca te olvidaremos.  Hasta que nos volvamos a ver, continúa brillando fuerte, sigue la música, y baila hasta que se te caigan las botas en tu nuevo hogar celestial.
