Pearline McClain, age 78

Mrs. McClain passed away Tuesday afternoon at Baylor Medical Center, Waxahachie. She was born in Five Points, TX. to Pierce and Lillie (Davis) Hopgood. She attended Maypearl Schools. She and J. C. McClain were married October 16, 1946 in Waxahachie. Mrs. McClain was a loving homemaker who enjoyed garage sales and working in the yard. She was a member of the Bible Baptist Church.

Mrs. McClain is survived by: son, Joe McClain and wife Peggy of Wilmer; daughter, Sandra Toupal and husband Robert of Rowlett; brother-in-law, A. G. McClain of Italy, sister, Lola Bell and husband Albert of Waxahachie; sister-in-law and special friend, Ella Hopgood of Grand Prairie; grandchildren, Dale McClain, Terri Savell, Scott McClain, Todd Toupal, Brett Toupal; and eleven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by parents, husband and eight brothers and sisters.

The family will receive friends and relatives 6-8 PM Wednesday at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life will be 10 AM Thursday, March 31, 2005 in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Todd Grimes officiating. Pallbearers will be Todd Toupal, Brett Toupal, Dale McClain, Scott McClain, Lee Roy Bell and Ray Hopgood. Interment will follow in the Waxahachie City Cemetery.
