Pauline Samouris

Pauline Jane Samouris passed away on March 7th after a lengthy illness. Pauline was born on August 18th, 1946 in Des Moines, IA. She resided in the Des Moines area most of her young adult life. She then moved with her husband and 3 children several times before settling in the Dallas area in 1987. She became a certified nurse's aide and worked for the Veteran's Affairs Hospital until her retirement in 2006. She spent her life caring for others and was loved deeply by everyone that knew her. She will be greatly missed by all. Pauline is survived by her husband of 48 years, Gary; her children Steven (Jackie), Jeffrey (Josephine) and Krista (David); her grandchildren Jamie (Julian), Jeremae, Shawn, Noah and Jacob; and several brothers, sisters and extended family. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 15th, 2014 at the family's home with a small reception to follow.
