Pauline Owens

Pauline Owens, 91, of Waxahachie, passed away Saturday, July 21, 2012 in Haltom City, Texas. She was born to the late Rola & Flossie Pearl Goff Terrell on January 06, 1921 in Ranger, Texas. Pauline married the love of her life Oscar Owens on July 05, 1939. Pauline was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church in Waxahachie. She loved Christ, loved to bake and deliver cookies to her friends in the local nursing facilities it was her love and ministry. She will be dearly missed by her family and everyone who knew her and loved her. She is survived by her 2 Sons: Jerroll & Connie Owens of Austin, Texas and Mike and Dolores Owens of Lingleville, Texas. 5 Grandchildren: Carole & Miles Dowdy of Haltom City, Texas; Michael T. & Tracy Owens of Flower Mound, Texas; Justin & Pamela Owens of Round Rock, Texas; Jason & Camille Owens of Georgetown, Texas and Matthew Owens of Waxahachie. Numerous Great Grandchildren: Numerous Nieces and Nephews: She was preceded in death by her husband Oscar Owen in 2000 and 2 sisters: Frances Hope and Felma Holliday. Services to celebrate her life are scheduled for 2:00 PM Friday, July 27, 2012 at the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home with Dr. Jerry Lemon officiating. Interment will follow at the Red Oak Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday, July 26, 2012 at Wayne Boze Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the direction of Wayne Boze Funeral Home in Waxahachie.
