Paul Lamar Jackson, age 90
February 10, 1913
June 2, 2003

Mr. Jackson, a lifetime Ellis County resident, passed away at Baylor Medical Center in Waxahachie. He was born in Maypearl to James Albert and Julia (Baird) Jackson. He graduated from Maypearl High School and Trinity University, Waxahachie. Mr. Jackson served with the US Army Air Corps during WWII. He married Theda Elizabeth Johnson March 10, 1937 in Ft. Worth. He was an independent sales rep including NCR and retired as owner of Waggoner Silk Screening in Ft. Worth in 1975. Mr. Jackson was a 3rd degree Mason in Ft. Worth, was long term director of the Maypearl Senior Citizens of which he started and a member of the South Prong Baptist Church. He lived his last three years living with his son, Larry. He was a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather.

He is survived by: two sons, Larry Jackson and his wife Bonnie of Waxahachie and Kenneth Jackson and his wife Brenda of Maypearl; one daughter, Paula Brownlee and her husband Ben of Ft. Worth; twelve grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 59 years, two brothers and two sisters.

The family will receive friends and relatives 6-8 PM Tuesday at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life will be 10:30 AM graveside services Wednesday, June 4, 2003 at the Maypearl Cemetery with Brother James Wilcox officiating. Interment will follow.

Donations may be made to South Prong Baptist Church, 101 Sunnyside Dr., Waxahachie, TX. 75165.
