Patty Chagnon

Patricia Ann Chagnon, 60 of Waxahachie, was born October 30, 1954 in Georgetown, WA. Patty graduated from Villanova University with a BSN and was married to Joseph Chagnon on July 24, 1976. Together they raised their five children, Michelle, Jason, Nichole, Daniel and Rebecca. She had 4 grandchildren, John, Justin, Jackson, Jacob and a baby Lane on the way. She has been in the nursing profession for almost 40 years. The last 10 years she was working as a hospice nurse. Patty was very active as a volunteer with the American Cancer Society for over ten years. Patty, her husband and her family worked on preparing the Relay for life. Patty was a wonderful, caring wife, mother and friend to many people. She was very active in her church and faithful to God. Patty loved to laugh and did so often when she was with the ones she loved. Patty died of cancer on March 10th 2015 after a long and hard battle. She will be missed by many. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 14, 2015 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Michael Guadagnoli officiating. Interment will follow at the Waxahachie City Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 6-8 p.m. Friday, March 13, 2015 at Wayne Boze Funeral Home, with a Rosary Prayer Service recited at 7:00 p.m. www.waynebozefuneralhome.com
